Alternative containers for Hana-isho (Basic)
花意匠（基本）代替で使える器
There are official Ohara containers. However, to start with Hana-isho (Basic), you can use alternative containers instead.
Preferred size of container for Hana-isho (Basic): 6" L x 10.5" W x 2"
小原流の公式花器も存在しますが、花意匠（基本）から生け花を始めるにあたって、写真のような「代替の器」を使えます。大きさはできれば奥行14.5㎝、幅25.5㎝、高さ5.2cmくらいのものがよいです。
Kenzan (Flower frogs) and Clipers
In Ikebana, we don't normally use floral forms, but instead, use Kenzan, the spiky floral frogs. About clippers, we use floral clippers or kitchen scissors.
生け花ではオアシスではなく通常は剣山を使います。ハサミは花用のハサミか、キッチンハサミを使います。
